Anniversary Meanings
Anniversary celebrations gained popularity in medieval times when people began celebrating 25 and 50 years of marriage. Husbands would crown their wife with a silver wreath for 25 years and a gold wreath for 50 years. This tradition of gold and silver wedding anniversaries has remained, and more anniversary meanings have been added. We now have a long list of other named anniversaries to accompany them and each represents a different stage in the relationship.

“I typed in 'internet florist' as I wanted to find a florist near to where my best friends lived and flowers4 came up. I clicked on the website and saw that I could send same day flowers before 2pm. (I was very pleased about as I'd just remembered it was her birthday at about 12.20!) I ordered a mixed hand tied in peach and yellows for £25.00 but left the choice up to them.
